At One Line Design Studio, we believe every project has a story and photography is what brings that story to life. Recently, two of our projects were photographed by exceptionally talented artists who each brought their own perspective and style to the process. Barry Grossman captured Hazel and Azure at National Landing in Arlington, VA, while Ryan Loco photographed Leksa at CityPlace in Doral, FL. Their work not only showcases the design, but also the personality and atmosphere of each property.
Barry Grossman | Hazel and Azure at National Landing
With nearly three decades behind the lens, Barry Grossman has built a career turning spaces, structures, and moments into compelling visual stories. His passion for photography is matched by his commitment to helping clients showcase their work in the most striking, effective way possible.
When Grossman first stepped into Hazel and Azure, their contrasting yet complementary qualities immediately struck him. Hazel’s scale and wood finishes conveyed strength and warmth, while Azure felt refined, elegant, and more feminine in its sensibility. “Their connection gave me the opportunity to create exterior photographs that included both buildings in single, encompassing views,” Grossman explained. “Those compositions told the story of unity while still allowing me to highlight their subtle differences in terms of color palette and scale.”
Inside, Grossman’s atmospheric, composition-driven style came to the forefront. Hazel’s wood tones and textures were enhanced through dramatic lighting, while Azure’s elegance was emphasized in softer, more graceful vignettes. By carefully balancing natural daylight with strobe lighting, Grossman captured depth, mood, and authenticity in each space.
Collaboration played a key role in shaping the shoot. “Working with Susan, Karrie, and their team always elevates the process,” Grossman shared. “Their insight into design intent and attention to detail influences how I see the space and how I choose to capture it.” Through Grossman’s lens, Hazel and Azure emerge as both distinct and connected, their individuality preserved while their harmony as part of National Landing shines through.
Ryan Loco | Leksa at CityPlace
Based in South Florida, Ryan Loco has built a reputation for capturing bold, authentic, and unforgettable moments through his lens. Known for his dynamic style and ability to tell a story in every frame, he works to create imagery that resonates and inspires.
For photographer Loco, Leksa’s design struck a balance between thoughtful curation and true comfort. “The space feels thoughtfully curated but also made to live in,” Loco said. “I was hoping that came through with each image.”
Set within the vibrant context of CityPlace Doral, Loco sought to capture both energy and calm, allowing viewers to see that Leksa offers a place for every mood. His clean, balanced compositions invite people not just to observe the design, but to imagine themselves in the space. “I love walking into a space and figuring out how to capture not just how it looks, but the atmosphere and emotion it gives off,” Loco explained. “Creating photos that let people connect with the space even if they’ve never stepped foot inside.”
Collaboration with the design team was just as meaningful for Loco: “Working with your team on site made the shoot a lot smoother and more creative. We were creating the images together. It allows me to see the space the way you envisioned it and the little thoughtful details that I would not have caught on my own.”
Hazel, Azure, and Leksa each tell a unique story. Through the artistry of Barry Grossman and Ryan Loco, those stories were translated into images that capture not just the look of a space, but its atmosphere and emotion. For our team, seeing design through their lenses is both inspiring and rewarding. The result is photography that allows anyone, anywhere, to feel what it’s like to experience these spaces in person.
